We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative (Outside Sales) for the Edmonton and Calgary area. The successful applicant will be responsible to represent our strong product suite, strengthen relationships, and establish new opportunities with a number of key customers throughout the Province.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be involved with the continued growth and success of Simark Controls. You will have proven abilities to achieve long term and mutually beneficial customer relationships while establishing new business.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Technology Certification

· 2 plus years of related industry experience

· Proactive self starter with the ability to develop and execute strategic activities

· Proven customer service skills

· Development and delivery of presentations

The successful applicant will be responsible for the engineering, estimating, design and assembly of Engineered Variable Frequency Drive Systems and RTU Panels. These Systems include Control Panels, Skid Mounted Systems and Electrical Houses. Reporting to the VP of BD & Manufacturing, you will provide leadership to the Engineering Team and work with the Production Department.

 

Applicants must possess an Electrical Engineering degree with 5 years of Western Canadian Oil and Gas experience. A background in electrical panel design, CSA Standards and Canadian Electrical Code would be an asset.
